Acceptable Use Policy
The product is for honest professionals selling honest services. Here's what we won't tolerate.
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, deletion of offending content, and (where appropriate) reports to law enforcement.
Prohibited content
You may not use ProposalForge to create, store, or send:
- Content that infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual-property rights.
- Content that defames, harasses, or threatens others, or that incites violence.
- Sexually explicit material, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or content that exploits minors in any way. We report CSAM to NCMEC and to the relevant authorities.
- Material that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or hatred based on protected characteristics.
- Content that misrepresents your identity, qualifications, or credentials, including impersonation of another person, business, or government.
- Personal data of third parties without a lawful basis.
Prohibited conduct
- Sending unsolicited bulk communications (spam) using ProposalForge's email features.
- Using the service to engage in fraud, money laundering, or deceptive trade practices.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the service or related systems without our prior written permission.
- Circumventing rate limits, plan quotas, security controls, or paywalls.
- Reselling or sublicensing the service, or building a competing service using our APIs or scraped data.
- Attempting to extract training data, prompts, or weights from any AI features.
- Uploading malware, exploits, or content designed to harm users or systems.
- Any conduct that violates applicable law in any jurisdiction.
Restricted high-risk uses
ProposalForge is built for general business proposals. It is not designed for and you may not use it for:
- Medical, legal, or financial advice that a regulated professional would otherwise provide;
- Decisions that materially affect a person's legal rights, eligibility for housing/credit/employment, immigration status, or access to essential services;
- Government-tendered procurement bids that are subject to specific compliance regimes (FedRAMP, DoD CMMC, HIPAA, etc.);
- Defense, weapons, or surveillance applications.
Reporting violations
If you believe a ProposalForge account is being used in violation of this AUP, email [email protected] with as much detail as possible. We investigate every report and take appropriate action.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion when we believe this AUP has been violated. Where a violation is alleged and the situation allows, we will give you a chance to cure before taking action. We may take immediate action without prior notice for severe or imminent harm.
Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of the page reflects the current version.
